EPFL+ECAL LAB FOR CHARITY INITIATIVE COEUR A COEUR
For the "Coeur à Coeur" initiative of the Swiss television (RTS) and the Swiss Solidarity organization, ECAL and EPFL+ECAL Lab have taken up the challenge to design four DAB+ radios.
Led by industrial designer Beatrice Durandard, the whole team of EPFL+ECAL Lab has conceived a one-of-a-kind piece with not less than 3483.02 cm of wire! The engineering system has been flattened and turned into a colourful artwork, so that the radio can to be hanged on the wall.
Together with the three radios, all unique, designed by ECAL, it will be sold for charity. The auction runs until Friday December 22nd at noon, on the Facebook page Cœur à Cœur - RTS or per email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The collected funds will help combating the precariousness of young people in Switzerland.
