Tactile Landscape

Television has gone digital, but the user remains a physical being. Giving a tactile dimension to our interactions and citing references from our lives changes our relationship to the digital world.
The remote control is no longer a simple set of functions on a plastic box. It has become a relevant and stimulating object – a vector of sensations, emotions, values, and culture. In light of the recent interest in technologies of remote sensing and body movement, research has revived our interest in the senses, especially that of touch.
